How to read your “Notice of your water and sewage consumption” (meter reading slip)

●Mater Reading Slip
- ①Your Customer Number

This is the number we use to identify you as a customer. Please quote this number when contacting us.
- ②Usage on Former Meter

Because of limits on the useable life of meters, or for other similar reasons, your meter may have been changed in the interim period since the date of your last reading. In that case, you will be notified of the total amount of water usage together with the previous meter usage.
* The previous mater usage will be rounded up by 1m3 Total usage (L) recorded on the previous meter ≧ total usage (L) recorded on the new meter
- ③Current Charges

This tells you the amount you will be charged for your current usage.
- ④Scheduled Amount of Automatic Account Transfer

This tells you the amount of the payment that will be transferred from your bank account.
- ⑤Date of Bank Transfer

This tells you the date that the bank transfer of the payment for your current charges will occur.
The bank transfer date is set at about 15 days after the date of the meter reading.
- ⑥Scheduled Date of Next Meter Reading

This tells you of the scheduled date of your next meter reading.
- ⑦Inquiries about your current meter reading

Please contact the sub-contractor responsible for conducting the meter reading, whose name is displayed on the Meter Reading Slip.
- ⑧Notice of deduction from your account

This tells you the most recently transferred amount and date.
You can select whether or not to display your account number and account name. Customers who would like to change their status about displaying this information, should contact the Customer Service Center.
* In order to protect personal information, even if a customer desires to have their bank account information displayed on the Meter Reading Slip, the final four digits of the account number will always be concealed by “*” on Meter Reading Slips issued from February 2011.
If you wish to have all of the digits of your account number displayed on your Meter Reading Slip, you should contact the Customer Service Center.
* In the case of payment by credit card, nothing will be printed in the Bank Account for Transfer space.
